I suffer from cancer and trade contracts for difference to make ends meet. Recently my provider closed my account benefitting from financial positions and refused to compensate me. They said they closed my account because of my health, but I argued that they knew of my health as far back as 2015 and did nothing. The Financial Ombudsmen (FO) found in their favour. The FO suggested this is a legal matter.
I argued that is January 2015 I emailed them to inform them of my health and being diagnosed with cancer. They did nothing. I did this again in 2018 because my health deteriorated... and they replied saying that they were giving me 14 days notice, freezing me from further trading and not giving me any compensation for the losses incurred as a result of the closure.
